Important Facts to Know About Jodee® Bras
The average regular bra has 12-14 sewing operations; we have up to 38 sewing operations, many of them subtle, but nevertheless, they are there to assure comfort and a perfect fit.
It is good to have at least two bras. One to wash and one ready to wear. If this is followed, bras will last longer. As in pantyhose, it takes 48 hours for the lycra in the bra to go back to its regular support after washing.

Checkpoints for a good fitting!
Place your breast form into the pocket of your bra. Adjust the straps and put the bra on. Check the following points for a good fitting:
1) Adjust the straps to hold the breast form close to the body, otherwise the breast form may feel too heavy.
2) Bra straps should be close to the neck, not resting on a tilted shoulder.
3) Be sure the bra fits snugly around the body. A loose bra will ride up.
4) Bra touching the center breastbone is ideal (totally contains the natural breast and helps keep the breast form close to the body). Yet, it may not be possible if surgery is in that area or you have an inverted breastbone.
5) Breast should fill the cup (no spillover, no empty spaces).
6) Breast form should fill the cup matching the natural side. Measurements from the nipple down to the bottom band should be the same on both sides.
7) If there is a depressed area above the breast form as it curves toward the under arm, Sew-In Tab (Style 83) acts as a shelf to keep the breast form from falling back into the cavity area.
8) Reasons the bra may twist to the side and be very uncomfortable:
Breast form is not heavy enough.
Cup on the natural side is too small. Flesh under the arm hangs over the bra. Use the Underarm Cushion (Style 69).
9) Fit the bra so it is centered in front and centered in back. You can always achieve this when using the accessories mentioned above.

Care Instructions:

BRAS
Hand wash and line dry just as you would any fine lingerie.

BREAST FORMS
Properly cared for breast forms should last up to and beyond the warranty period.

SILICONE BREAST FORMS
(2-Year Replacement Warranty)
Gently wash in warm water with a mild soap and pat dry. Do not wring or rub. Although the protective covering is sturdy, sharp objects can damage it. Pins, jewelry, scissors, etc., should be avoided when wearing or handling the breast form. Do not use powder or perfume on your breast form. Powders tend to dry the breast form and perfumes may damage the textured film that surrounds the silicone.

FOAM BREAST FORMS
(6 month Replacement Warranty against manufacturing defects)
Gently wash in warm water with a mild soap and gently squeeze (do not wring) in a towel. Line dry. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER!

PERMA-FORM BRAS
(6 month Replacement Warranty against manufacturing defects)
(APPLIES ONLY TO FOAM FORM INSIDE BRAS)
Gently wash in warm water with a mild soap and gently squeeze (do not wring) in a towel. Line dry. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER!

Reimbursable by Medicare and most insurance providers.
